This is a beautifully cut skirt for summer days, vintage events, the races or simply a walk on the promenade. Moves and sways beautifully especially with the petticoat.  It was adapted from an original fifties pattern .... so has the finer drape and float than one sees with many modern reproductions with cheaply gathered waistbands.
