Ella Singh was famous in Germany in the late 1980s early 1990s as designer for luxury label Escada. Her own label has featured fishtail mermaid designs over a number of years since the 90s so difficult to pinpoint the exact date of this skirt, & though we think it's c y2k. could be earlier or later.
In any case its a fabulous deep but shimmering purple, with a lovely shape; a very elegant piece.
