Very elegant vintage Laura Ashley ballgown dress in luxurious black cotton velvet with a huge dark greeny/slate tonic gold bow and train. Looks 1980s but I think likely 1990s.
It is a size UK 8. Full length but just right so that you don't have to hitch it when walking. I am five foot 5 inches plus my Blahnik kitten heeled boots for a guide. So I'd say shoe length which is ideal not to trip up in!
A stunning and very elegant design, what I love most about gowns like this, is the decadent rigs you can wear underneath and nobody would know heh heh. So I chose some bloomers and faux stocking tights on this occasion, which was to play the unfaithful harlot Molly from the song 'Whiskey in the Jar' who sells out her dashing and faithful highwayman lover? For the considerable reward there was on highwaymen perhaps? Or highway women - Katherine Ferrers was a noblewoman who may have worn a gown like this but was also a highway robber! The movie Wicked Lady with Margaret Lockwood 1945 based on her. Anyway I do all four characters in this so my pronouns will be they/them heh heh for this. I don't play the devil that's AI art but of course he'd be identifying as a British redcoat at the time!

Oh Molly how could you see your love in ball and chain? Yeah we know the devil took ya....and you sure have the gown for such devilment , though was Laura Ashley craftmanship not his! Very figure hugging and boned in front., but the real seduction is in when you wiggle in dance that bow and train mesmerizing enchanting and well I would say divine but I def think the other side has more to do with it....heh heh. You will have a ball in it.
