Stunning figure hugging velvet dress from Am Inew York . Date unknown. Has a timless quality that would be suitable for 30s or 40s , but probably later origin (70's?). The velvet has oxidized in parts leaving reddish marks, so be aware of that but Iwould certainly still wear it as they are not so noticebale in evening light. Very much a dress for those 'Gilda' moments! High thigh split. The neckline is unusual and assymetric and reminiscent of Ancient Egypt. Size UK 10
