Stunning, sublimely romantic, colonial Edwardian lady explorer inspired jacket by Richard Warren for SAKS Fifth Avenue, we styled it inspired by the intrepid lady Egyptologists and colonial explorers of the late Edwardian to 1930s period.

55% linen 45^ rayon, with beautiful attached lace draping prettily over wrist detail, the jacket has a cavalry flap front with braiding and metal conchos, so equally of perhaps South American western colonial period campaign cavalry officer influence.

A very special piece and can again be worn just with jeans and boots, or a white or neutral flared summer skirt.
Teamed here with a 1960s does 1930s vaquero inspired riding skirt & Annie Gough hat listed separately.

A truly Romantic piece and a wonderfully versatile summer lightweight but well constructed garment.

Please note: the bottom frill is my own blouse worn beneath the garment, not integral though the lace cuffs are.
Please note: linen does tend to have creases as part of its character, especially when packaged so may requite steaming on arrival.

A loose fitting box to waist shape it is fine for a size UK 8 to 14 comfortably. Labelled a USA size 10.
