A gorgeous early piece by Patsy Seddon who founded the Phase 8 line in 1979.
 
This oozes elegance reminscent of an exiled Russian aristocrat of late Edwardian period, in a rich high quality crushed velvet, good pile, of fabulous blend of viscose (cellulose) & cotton that feels like silk velvet, not that tacky modern type synthetic rubbish.
 
Love the rear leg split. A very beautiful cut.
