This suit is immaculate and sensational example of Matita (London New York Paris) style. The iconic 40s through to 60s ladies tailoring had few rivals, and regulary appeared in Vogue and photos by Norman Parkinson etc. Its a beautiful warm grey/fawn/beige and cream check boucle wool, with a cheeky mid 60s skirt. The collar we are pretty sure is phantom beaver, which is produce of Cree indians in Canada (it can't be farmed) and was a popular trim at the time. Lovely subtle shades and you will never find anything softer than this high end fur. This suit will take you anywhere and turn heads. Size 8 to 10 . Many Matita examples are featured in the V&A Fashion Collection.
