This is a very beautiful original 1940 mouton fur coat. Being 78 years old it does show signs of wear on the cuff and front edge area but it is still sturdy and wearable. Ideal for vintage events or for day to day winter wear. Mouton is sheepskin fur and these coats were very popular at the time but 40's versions are becoming rare and they have the shoulder structure and detail that later 50's and 60's versions didn't.
